The SharePoint 2007 Web Developer III
We are looking for a top-notch SharePoint Web Developer with strong experience in Microsoft .NET. This is a contract-to-hire position, beginning first as a consultant. You must meet the following requirements to be considered:

1. You must live in the Seattle area and able to commute daily to south Seattle area.
2. You must have a Bachelor degree.
3. You must have a minimum of seven (7) years programming/development experience, including .NET based web solutions (C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET, SQL Server) and experience supporting enterprise Microsoft technologies in a 24X7 environment.
4. You must have a minimum of one (1) year experience supporting and maintaining Microsoft MOSS 2007 including content management web development experience using XML, XSLT, HTML, CSS and/or two (2) years development experience with Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2003 or 2007. IIS and SQL experience required.
5. You must have experience using Team Foundation Services.
6. You must have a certification as an MCAD and/or MCSE.

PRIMARY DUTIES:
&clubs Implements and functionally supports enterprise web systems solutions on Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 (MOSS 2007) at an Enterprise level across all Regions and the System Office.
&clubs Develops web parts, workflows and content types, to add new functionality to the intranet.
&clubs Ensures adherence to technical coding and environment standards.
&clubs Assists as part of the team to implement the vision of a single intranet.
&clubs Contributes to the development and enhancements of intranet features following the roll-out of the One Intranet system initiative.
&clubs Provides technical administration support for change requests, new functionality, bug-reports and other issues support for the technical environment.
&clubs Supports SharePoint implementation and configuration for implementing custom solutions.
&clubs Actively offers recommendations to strategically align web development initiatives to the vision of one Intranet.
&clubs Acts as a leader to maintain overall solution architecture and application design including templates, visual design and core application functionality.
&clubs Actively leads requirements gathering and user interface design.
&clubs Assigned a primary role for large, complex project development with MOSS 2007.
&clubs Work may require taking the lead to ensure all development requirements related to or specific to a project are completed, including parts and components using .NET.
&clubs Designs new functionality.
&clubs Interacts with Analysts and SharePoint designers to understand business requirements and information needs and translate needs into well documented solutions.
&clubs Works regularly with Analysts and offers support to customers.
&clubs Participates in design and requirement walk-throughs.
&clubs Contributes to enterprise team and assistance of lead developer as a central development team member.
&clubs Provides training, mentorship and guidance to junior developers.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

&clubs Advanced knowledge and demonstrated experience in designing software applications using Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) from requirements analysis through testing and deployment.
&clubs Demonstrated experience with the Microsoft platform including IIS and SQL required.
&clubs Advanced knowledge of and experience with the SharePoint Object Model.
&clubs High proficiency with Microsoft Visual Studio, Microsoft Office SharePoint Designer and Team Foundation Server required.
&clubs Working knowledge of InfoPath development and Active Directory required.
&clubs Experience with various development methodologies (Agile, RUP, SCRUM etc.) preferred.
&clubs Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to document and communicate technical designs to developers, support staff, project stakeholders and leadership at all levels.
&clubs Ability to work effectively with a distributed team, across five states and with minimal supervision.
