Outcome Measures: The Passion
Today I was invited to attend the facilitation of a team building outcome measures, the third step in implementing the NOW management framework. So far our team developed their initial outcomes and understanding the detailed data of how those outcomes will be measured is very hard work. These were the comments captured after our half day session with team members:
It is very exciting to see the group moving forward and I am looking forward to talking about constraints. This is the time to really start rolling up our sleeves, it will likely be difficult, and takes time, effort and commitment.
Another good, productive session, think this is a great process.
Starting to observe after each session that each one is very productive, with solid tangible work being done, and using our time well…maybe it’s how it is being facilitated, not getting into the weeds…it feels so good.
Today was productive, having been before and coming back, a lot of product is coming about.
Excellent facilitation, appreciate the process and patience in working with us. Excited about working on the outcome measures, when looking at the material, it’s real. Appreciate that we kept it at a small, doable level.
I spoke with my managers about key goals and their reaction was “these are fantastic.”
MANAGING IN THE NOW is for leaders who are searching for what is relevant in an increasingly competitive world and who need to quickly take advantage of the massive shift to customization and every time getting every employee to take advantage of every opportunity to either reduce cost, increase revenue or improve quality. PASSION IS WHERE IT ALL STARTS!
